Review: People Animal Welfare Society (Non for Profit) One stop shop for travellers!! Absolutely tremendous place!! Vegan Café!! Raw & cooked!! They help people as well and aren’t just business. For e.g. they have a building next door where the temporary house those in need and, for anyone who may not be able to afford the full cost of a hot or raw meal (which is very cheap already) then they will work something out so that you can eat! A particular female staff member (won’t name names) is particularly knowledgeable and great to talk with on a vast range of topics! All staff members are helpful and will make time for any questions or will get someone who can elaborate more so. You don’t even have to buy anything as it is a “non-for-profit” organisation – just walk in and ask to speak to someone for some help &/ advice about “ how to start” “where to shop” “experience”, the list goes on. I haven’t even been Vegan/Fruitarian for 6 months yet and, the help they have given is tremendous! It is not fine dining by any means, BUT, the cooked and raw food is delicious! Raw cakes, (y) (a thumbs up!) ;) They have a small supermarket range of products! A great place to start!
