Respond to Review of Sage Organic Vegan Bistro

Review: I had read about this place on happycow, and here's my Sage Organic Vegan Bistro review. Since this vegan restaurant first opened in March 2012 in Echo Park / Los Angeles, my husband and I have eaten here and eaten raw ice cream at Kindkreme, which shares the same space as Sage. The first lunch at Sage Organic Vegan Bistro was GREAT. The second time was good. All the food was nicely presented and tasted good. Moderate prices. The space is modern and relaxed with small dark wooden tables & black chairs, white walls, clean lines and a couple pieces of wall art. We've had: * Soup of the day. A charboiled green beans and garlic soup. It had a nice strong flavor though a bit too peppery. * Falafel bowl/plate. Perfectly fried and yummy falafel balls over a bed of quinoa and accompanied by a red pepper hummus, vegan tzatziki dressing (yogurt-like), and pistachio nut tabouli. Delicious. * Heart of palm salad. Fresh tasting palm + marinated/pickeled artichoke heart + red beet "sandwiches" (that's what I call it - it's cashew cheese between 2 wedges of beet). Yummy. * Jack Daniels BBQ jackfruit burger. The little bits of jackfruit tasted great, had a very pleasant texture. Sandwiched between 2 slices of panini-like bread alongside sauerkraut, dijion mustard, BBQ sauce, fresh arugula. Tasty. *Chilaquiles. Seasoned Spanish style rice with beans, round tortilla chips, a lime sauce, a bit of salsa and a dollop of vegan sour cream. Pretty good. Be sure to save room for KindKreme desserts!
