Respond to Review of Veggie Planet
Review: This restaurant is not a stand alone/family run/amateur affair like most vegetarian resturants but is owned by a larger food and hospitality group. The interior design is quite slick, and the menu is innovative. Not just the Chinese standards, but lots of Malay, fusion, and even Indonesian dishes. The resturant is completely air conditioned and the young waiters are smiley and energetic. Everything I tried on the menu was good, perhaps the Nyona curry with rice noodles was the highlight. What was surpising was that the prices were quite reasonable...a meal for one would be about 15 ringitt. I can't think of anything wrong with the place...except they charge for a glass of water...of course I don't mind paying .50 ringitt...but a restaurant as good as this should be able to make their money from their excellent food, not iced water for dehydrated tourists.
