Review: We stopped by here for breakfast before a visit to a local sanctuary, and it was so good we ended up coming back for lunch afterwards! The waitress we had, who I believe was the daughter of the owner, was incredibly knowledgeable about veganism, and may have even been vegan herself. She asked what we wanted and told us what she could make and whipped it up for us. It came out extremely fast and we agreed it was the best pancakes and french toast we've had at a restaurant. She even went as far as to make sure we were ok with Earth Balance as our butter. When we came back for lunch, we ordered off of their regular menu, and got a great quesadilla and grilled cheese, with complimentary, homemade chips and salsa. When we left, the waitress had a special vegan desert for us for free! This is one of those old fashioned, rustic privately owned and well run establishments. Truly a gem out in the middle of the country. If you are nearby, do stop in. You won't regret it. Very great prices as well. Especially for the quality of the food and the personal care and attention you receive.
