Review: This restaurant is part of a community/social project supporting underprivileged people. It turned out to be just 5 minutes from the flat I was staying in in Prague and I was so pleased to manage a visit before leaving the city. It was busy without feeling over-full, and had a very nice ambience. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table. It did take a little longer than we might have liked for someone to come to even take our drinks order and the first waiter who came over looked completely panicked when I asked (in English) "What's the soup of the day?" He said "Errrrrrrrr, moment" and disappeared. Over 5 minutes later, a waitress came over. Again, that could have been faster but she spoke great English and was very helpful. (Note, I'm not one of those people who thinks everyone should speak English but my Czech just really wasn't up to asking that question!) I had spring rolls for my starter (I didn't find them chewy unlike another reviewer) and the coriander chutney was very tasty. For my main, I chose the stuffed Portobello steak mushrooms with courgette chips. My friend had the courgette chip starter and the veggie burger for his main. Everything was well-cooked, hot, and absolutely delicious. Wine is sold by the glass. Very reasonably priced - our entire bill (2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 large glasses of wine) came to 550CSK which was about £18 - great value for 2 people. There was a good mix of clientele - a couple of small mixed groups, a group of five older ladies, some couples, two people clearly on a first date (awww!). I wanted to return before my trip was over but sadly there just wasn't time. It's very easy to get to from Florenc Metro Station (Lines B and C), a little out of the city centre but worth the trip.
