Review: The Best Restaurant in Town There are many reasons why folks venture outside of the home to eat a meal. It may be an invitation to meet with friends, the need for a meal while traveling, or simply for the camaraderie of the small town flavor. Whatever the case may be nestled in the back of Brooksville Natural Foods store, this little cafe takes on a life of its own. The best cafe in town is Chef Audrey's Fresh Market Cafe. The menu is not limited to one, whether it's by choice or by recommendation, there are accommodations for the vegan, the gluten-free, and the dairy-free as well as for folks who are on some type of restrictive diet. The menu has a wide selection of choices that are most likely to please anyone, from the many different salads to the made-to-order sandwiches. When it comes to baked goods, there are not many who can pass up the all enticing aroma of the fresh baked "Morning Glory Muffins" or the tasty gluten-free peanut butter cookies. An essential point to mention is that not only does the cafe incorporate all natural and organic ingredients but when it's available, they also use locally grown produce which further supports the community. The cafe projects the feeling of sitting in someone's home at their kitchen table. The warmly painted walls adorn the vintage kitchen gadgets that are sure to either conjure curiosity or bring forth old memories of a time gone by. It's not unusual to hear a customer tell of a time when they were a kid and their mom or grandmother used a similar kitchen device. You may also feel like you're in a quaint art gallery, leisurely taking in the various artists whose works appear on the wall. One could never be disappointed while enjoying this tasteful decor. On any given day, you can walk into the cafe and find yourself in the midst of comedic banter and even be encouraged to participate if you like. The welcoming smile that is extended to each one of its guests is comforting and well worth returning for. In a time where everything has become rushed, you may find yourself lingering and longing for a simpler time. This eclectic cafe not only provides you with a nutritional home-cooked meal, but also offers that home away from home feeling, a little bit of nostalgia, and free conversation to boot. For a treat you would hardly regret and never forget, Chef Audrey's Fresh Market Cafe has to be the best cafe in town.
