Respond to Review of Su Shi Piao Xiang Vegetarian Food

Review: This is a simple venue. It is so simple that its food is advertised as photos on the wall. Some of these photos have a price written on them, but many don't. None of the photos have any words written on them - in any language - so if you do not already know what the meal is (so that you can ask for its price, at the least), then you will hopefully get whatever looks like that meal from the kitchen. We asked for what looked like a large plate of mock fish for $10 and received two little bits of veg fish with a spicy sauce on it. We were shocked at this blatant rip-off and tried to query the size of the portion to be told that "that's the photo". Nobody speaks English here, there is no menu, and the food, while tasty, is really all about guesswork. Ordering for us, as English speakers, was very difficult. Arguing was even more difficult. Vegans should note that much of the mock fish sold in Singapore contains whey protein, but at a venue such as this, it is not feasible to check all the ingredients of your meal. As a saving grace, the soup we ordered was a good portion size and quite filling, though again, we were not sure of whether the mock fish pieces in it were vegan or contained whey protein.
