Review: V-note touts itself to be an upscale vegan establishment. The location on the upper east side is right next to Candle 79. I went there at 6:30pm on a Thursday and the restaurant was empty, but filled up during the course of my meal. The restaurant is not so small that it is cramped, and it has a nice bar. I ordered the ravioli in cashew cream and it was very heavy! I couldn't finish it all. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but likely won't return because of the price and the food was 'ok' I like a bit more flavor and spice in my meals. But very beautiful presentation, decor, and friendly waitress (who was also vegan).
