Review: Great little local coffee house in the Heights. Excellent brew coffee, especially the Viva La Feminista blend, which in addition to being superb, also supports women coffee farmers. Antidote is vegan-friendly, offering soy and almond milk for coffee/tea, and varying daily selections of vegan goodies from Radical Eats and Sinfull Bakery. Try Radical's tamales, Sinfull's cinnamon rolls, and if they're available, their delicious vegan banana split cupcakes. Other drinks also available, including beer and wine. If you are closer to Montrose, also try Black Hole Cafe, owned by the same people, and essentially the same as Antidote, also vegan-friendly. Occasionally they offer veggie chili, too (haven't tried it, but pretty sure it's vegan. You might want to ask to make sure). Updated from previous review on Tuesday May 10, 2011
