Review: My husband and i are pescatarians with strong vegan leanings. When we were visiting NO in early Feb, we had a difficult time finding vegan and vegetarian food options that was not deep-fired, until Happy Cow pointed us to Carmo. We thoroughly enjoyed the Guo Tie and Acaraje. Both dishes have fish, but the menu says it can be made vegan or vegetarian. Please, check them out if you are near the art district, museum or convention center.
