Respond to Review of Bodhi Thai Vegetarian and Vegan Kitchen
Review: I had read about this place on happycow, and here's my Bodhi Kitchen review. I've eaten here twice so far. I've tried the lentil burger (okay), the pho junior noodle soup (nice veggies, pretty good but a bit too mild in flavor), Thai tom ka soup (average), the green curry with rice extra charge (strong flavor and salty), and fried spring roll (oddly doughy skin that was not crispy at all, strange filling with corn and peas - un traditional). Bodhi Kitchen is based on the Thai vegan restaurant model that's spread over southern California for some years now. From speaking with the owner, Bodhi Kitchen is a direct spin-off of LA Vegan with the similar menus. The food is mostly vegan, with labels. Egg is also served like in the pad thai noodles, and it's also in the mock duck. It's a small place with basic setup, located in the Pico Robertson area where there is a high Jewish population. It's Kosher certified.
