Respond to Review of Select Stores
Review: Went into select stores to order a coffee and a sandwich to go. Was left waiting 30 minutes while apparently my order was being made, with no explanation or apology as to why it was taking so long and when i was finally handed my order i was informed that they had run out of the bread i had asked for but they had taken it upon themselves to put it on a bread of their own choice....it would of been nice to have been given the option seeing as i was paying for it!!! At this stage i just wanted to leave as i had been standing at the counter for 30 minutes. Got home and took out the sandwiches to find that it was the wrong order completely and to add insult to injury, they were over flowing with tomatoes which i happen to be severely allergic too. As somebody who works in the service industry, i am completely appalled by the lack of customer care and their sheer audacity at deciding what i would be given instead of simply asking me. Clearly need to revise their customer relations strategy and competency.
