Respond to Review of CatBar
Review: A few (non-veggie) friends had mentioned how difficult they found eating in Barcelona as opening times of restaurants can be awkward and the menus were hard to decipher or expensive for set meals and so I decided to research veg-friendly places before we left. I took my meat eating mum here 2 hours after our plane landed as we were tired and hungry and we knew it would be open at 4pm and being only a few meters from the Catedral it was easy to get to. I had burger with homemade bread, beans and homemade chips and my mum had the same but with sausages ,and two diet Cokes for less than 15 euros! Amazing value for the huge portions and the chips were to die for! We liked it so much we went back. One of the owners was working both times we visited and after the first time she gave us a map and circled lots of vegetarian and sight-seeing places she recommended which I thought was lovely and above & beyond what was expected of her. I wish I knew her name to mention because she was so nice. I would 100% recommend CatBar, it's not gourmet health or raw food but you can guarantee huge portions of comfort vegan food for decent prices. The menu was limited (burgers/sausage/breakfast/hummus/soup/cakes is all I can remember) but I'm sure everyone would eat something from it!
