Respond to Review of Blooming Cactus
Review: I have just visited The Blooming Cactus in Lanzarote and was very impressed. It is a little far from the main strip but it's a lovely walk along the harbour. The place is ran by two lovely English women who were very friendly and talkative, there is a black dog the hangs around who is very friendly. The menu is good and everything is veggie with vegan options, all homemade and organic where possible, also have wheat free options. To start we had hummus with pitta breads and then we had madras curry and a satay curry. All very nice, all food is prepared by a professional vegan cook. Prices are around €8.50 for main meal and have to order rice separate for around €2.50, starters are around €3/4, serving sizes are large, we could not finish main courses. The place does not open until 6 and is closed on Sunday. Would highly recommend a visit as it is quite difficult to find anywhere to eat in Lanzarote if vegan.
