Respond to Review of New Holland Brewing
Review: Nothing vegan on the menu other than chips and salsa and fries or an overpriced hummus plate which you can pay extra for to add fresh veggies. Salads, some pizzas, a hummus sandwich, and a portobello burger can be ordered without cheese. That's about it. Side orders of tabouli and veggies are offered...the taboulli was terrible. Service was slow, but very friendly. Being a downtown brewing company, it seems to be a hotspot. Lively atmosphere=deafening roar. Honestly, it was unpleasantly loud in there although it made for a great people-watching spot. We were underwhelmed and frustrated by the noise and slow service for the price. However, they were willing to make some substitutions and we had a hummus sandwich with tabouli and a cheeseless pizza. It was a meal, but nothing special. You're better off exploring a chinese or mexican restaurant on the outskirts of Holland, stay away from the downtown if you want to eat vegetarian or vegan.
