Respond to Review of The Chicago Diner
Review: I feel bad that the Chicago Diner gets hyped up so much and then disappoints some. I think it's a great place to go for vegan comfort food that you thought you'd never be able to replace after giving up the real stuff. The food isn't meant to be gourmet, it's meant to be greasy and good. I think they definitely achieve that in their sandwiches and brunch items. They've just updated their menu to include a few new fantastic items. I tried the spinach artichoke hummus, and it was excellent! By far, they outshine anyone else in their desserts. They have *the best* vegan chocolate chip cookies I've ever had in my life (and I've tried a lot)! Their shakes are also to die for- the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie dough is the ultimate indulgence.
