Respond to Review of Gongdelin Vegetarian Restaurant
Review: I was a bit surprised by the formal dining-hall style of this place, as I'd expected something smaller. Large picture menu and the place just oozes character and history. A bit hard to navigate with only English, but not impossible with a bit of patience. Note that, as with many nicer Chinese veg restaurants, there is a huge variation in dish prices... from 20 RMB to 200, depending on the item and rarity. There are more affordable and filling options, some towards the back, but you need to look for them. Within walking distance of both Tiananmen and Temple of Heaven.
