Review: What a wonderful vegan restaurant. Serves Hungarian and Italian food. A choice of 8 vegan pizzas for mains. I chose the "vegetable lover pizza" (made of spelt flour base with lots of veggie toppings plus dairy free cheese) for 1850 florints (about £6) together with a side salad (from the help yourself sald bar). The vegan pizza was one of the best I've ever had. My partner had a goulash soup as starter followed by gnocchi. I wish we'd read the reviews before we ordered, as the p[ortions were large and we both had difficulty finishing our meals. The restaurant has a nice ambience - its in a basement and has an arched roof. The tables are spacious. The main Menu is in Hungarian, German and English. Only criticism (and this being a bit petty) is that the main course was served before we'd finished the starter, so didn't have time for starter to settle before moving on to next course. Apart from this I thought this place was great. I was so full after the pizza and salad I couldn't manage one of their many vegan cakes/desserts, so ended up ordering an apple cake to take away. I wish we'd had time on our trip to Budapest to go back to this restaurant. It was wonderful, and would thoroughly recommend it to other veg*ns travelling to Budapest.
