Review: i had heard many great things about sticky fingers and insisted on going during my birthday vacation. i was so happy about the place that it was hard for me to figure out what to get; there were a lot of great options. we ended up going with the "turkey" sandwich and the "egg" sandwich. both were absolutely delicious...filling but not heavy (and easy to eat on the road, like we did). the bread was amazing and as someone who isn't a huge fan of tomatoes, i was happy to see the lack thereof. i was going to get cupcakes, but because we were on the road i decided to go with things more travel-friendly. i got sticky buns and chocolate chip cookies. the buns were insanely amazing (my non-vegan mother was delighted and my 19-month old loved having a taste of something sweet). the cookies were light and sweet. i also got a cup of their house-blend coffee and it was perfect; since i'm a barista myself, this is a great perk! the location itself was lovely and the workers were awesome and gave us great directions, to boot. i can't wait to get back to dc to partake in more goodies!
