Review: A nice, clean, relaxed restaurant, great for a casual meal, though a little lacking in ambience (to be expected at this price point really). Whilst there appeared to be a self serve buffet section, we were too late to take advantage of it, and were asked to order a la carte instead. The menu is large and varied, and divided into different sections for chicken, seafood, beef etc. There were also quite a few dishes that I haven't seen elsewhere (Marmite Chicken for example!). Dishes can be ordered small, medium or large, with small dishes priced at around RM8 each. Between the two of us, we ordered 4 small plates hoping to sample a few different things. As it turns out, small isn't exactly small, and four was way too much - you could comfortably get by on one small dish per person. We were happy with everything we tried: chicken rendang (particularly good), black pepper lamb, barbecue ribs, and a tasty fish dish recommended by the staff, who were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and more than happy to have a chat. Frozen products are also for sale in the freezers out the back if you're up for some home cooking. Definitely recommended, and we'll certainly be coming back next time we're in Penang.
