Respond to Review of CLOSED: Palace of Dosas
Review: The South Indian fare was GREAT, the service attentive, the prices quite modest. We had the special and it was perfect for two and quite a wide variety in the spread. Even if the little containers seem small, it's really filling. The decor was basic, seemingly unchanged from whatever the place was before, no sign of anything "Indian" anywhere visually. I was a little put off by the fundamentalist Christian pamphlets in the front entryway--not sure if that's related to the ownership, or someone just happened to put it out there, but the food was good enough to overcome that. Opened in 2007, if you live nearby be sure to check it out, and patronize this little gem because it deserves to succeed. But in a "wings" &"beef & weck" kind of neighborhood, it'll be a struggle without a local fan club.
