Respond to Review of CLOSED: Neng Ren Vegetarian Restaurant
Review: It was a little tricky finding the restaurant (you have to turn off the street toward the temple, then continue past the temple into the building straight ahead. There's a lot of mock meat, and as far as we could tell, it's entirely vegan. We tried a chicken dish that came with deep fried peppers and peanuts, another entree, and two huge bowls of soup, and the total came to 60 yuan. It was more food than we could manage, so we had to take some leftovers home. It was our first restaurant visit in China, and we didn't realize that it was a no-tip culture, so we left some change on the table and left. The waitress came out of the restaurant running after us saying "you forgot your money!" This was one of the best meals we had on our three-week trip to China. If we'd been in Guilin longer than a day, we'd definitely have gone back again.
