Respond to Review of Bodi Temple
Review: This temple is well worth a visit as the largest temple in Taipa island, as well as one of the largest in Macau. It housed dormitories for the Sangha, as well as the largest bronze Buddha statue in Macau. The compound has many lovely plants and bonsai carefully cultivated by the few gardeners in the temple as well as the chef, who is always helping out with the plants when not in the kitchen. The serving staffs are volunteers who are Buddhists, lending a very warmth and uncommercial feel to the place. It is extremely tranquil and quiet, occasionally with chanting from the higher floors if there are ceremonies or dharma classes going on. The temple also possessed many beautiful religious artifects, paintings, wood cravings, calligraphy scrolls, etc.
