Respond to Review of Au Lac Fountain Valley
Review: After my visit a year, I wasn't a huge fan. I wasn't too quick to hurry back. However, out of georgaphical convenience, I went today. It was such a different experience. The place looks way different, very classy, and the staff were great, very friendly. The food was pretty good. I'm not sure on how vegan their "vegan" options are, having read mixed reviews, and my previous experience of being told a dish was "90%" vegan, so i stuck with the raw food options. I'm not a big raw food fan, so i don't think i am one to give a good in depth description of the food, but it was definitely prepared well. I had the Chef's Hand Roll, which was under appetizers and was around $8.00, and it was pretty good. The place is worth going to, especially if you are a raw food fan. You will appreciate it much more then I. They had a great drink menu, and I am curious to try the raw desserts. The Orange Juice was amazing. Fresh squeezed and organic, and you had to chew through the pulp. The place was extremely clean, the cook was wearing gloves while handling the cooking pans on the stove. Maybe that's common, but i've never seen it. This place is worth going to.
