Review: literally two streets away from Central Station and is housed in the old Daily Record newspaper offices - the building is Charles Rennie Mackintosh design so you get lots of tour groups standing outside taking photos while you eat! There is a sign stating "Daily Record Building" at the alley way so you know you're in the right place. Anyway we ate here three times during a recent trip (Aug 10) and the food and drinks were all good. The gnocci was cooked perfectly. The calzone was brilliant (never had vegan calzone before as its a rare find) and there are always good tapas dishes to try (recommend the roast beet and tadziki and the caremelised aubergines). Soup of the day is always good and filling. Decent wine list, we had the Prosecco which was £20 a bottle so in line with other bars. Food is good value for what you get. All vegan so plenty of choice which is rare for us!!
