Respond to Review of Hmong Night Market
Review: I took my 71 yr old father here in 2011. I loved it, but he didn't. First, it was so crowded that it was a continual squeeze to get around, and it took us about 5 minutes of this to find the veggie stall, which was a bit rough on my poor pa. Second, we found only one such stall on our visit (not three as previous reviewers have reported), and the selection was a bit limited. Third, it seemed that the people operating the veggie stall were also selling fish right next to it, so it may not be what we'd normally consider a 100% veggie establishment here on HappyCow. That said, once we had found food and a spot to sit down at the crowded communal tables, we had a good time and the food was tasty (though it was cold, so i had to ask them to recook it in the wok, which they were happy to do). I also found a spring roll vendor selling veggie spring rolls without egg, which were fresh and tasty. So, if you don't mind crowds, communal tables, and a potentially jostling wander to find the veggie stall, i'd say it's a great experience to do at least once.
