Respond to Review of Saveurs VegetHalles
Review: We arrived at Saveurs early in the evening, when we were practically the only ones there; it had started to fill up a little by the time we left, but this was a Sunday, and I assume it would have been much busier if we'd gone a day earlier. The staff were helpful and the place itself, while a little minimalist on the decor, had a calm atmosphere to it. We both ordered the 'formule du soir' of a main course and a desert for €15.90, and I chose the plate of the day, a tofu and brocolli tart, and the apple crumble for desert. Both of them were excellent, the main course being perhaps a little on the small side for the price; but with that almost being made up for by the enormous desert. My girlfriend, however, was less impressed by her choices, a slightly odd 'assiette du jour' with a strange mix of flavours (including an unidentifiable aniseed-y component), and an extremely thick chocolate mousse (also enormous, like my dessert). All round, despite our slightly mixed experiences, I would recommend Saveurs vegetHalles as a pleasant place for a decent, and not overpriced, evening meal in the centre of Paris.
