Review: This was our first veggie restaurant we tried in Paris. The place and staff (female waitress) were very nice. The menu is in French and english. It is located very nicely in the centre, (metro Stop "Chatelet). When we were seated we got the menu and some french bread. The menu on Saturdays is limited compared to the rest of the week, but still there is a big variety. I ended up ordering a soup of the Day, "Vapor Veggie", and "red fruit Crumble". My wife ordered a veggie tart and salad. The menu looks very sophisticated with a large selection. And there are many vegan dishes so that is ideal for vegans alike. The food was served nicely and decorated. Overall it looked good. My vapor veggie was a bit dissapointing. But maybe i should have guessed it from its name? It was just a bunch of steam cooked vegetables without salt. All dishes were served with some strange black rice/grainy thing. That was also not very nice and without salt. Next to it came some cooked lentils without spices/salt. Fortunately all tables are equipped with salt/pepper/oil/other things. The soup was ok. The desert was nice. I think this restaurant was very nice, but you have to know what to order. The waitress does speak some english but discussing with her about the menu does not really work. Check our their menu (on their website) to know what to eat. I think this restaurant is a good emergency option for Hare Krishna devotees, but probably you will miss the good taste that prasadam has.
