Respond to Review of Tai-i Vegetariano
by Pernilleskokken

Review: this place says it's vegetarian but in a vegetarian lomo (gluten meat) saltado, served with fried rice, the rice containes little cubes of meat! And this was not at all obvious from the menu. So beware what you eat or make sure you ask for plain boiled rice with your meal. Otherwise the restaurant has an extensive menu with many choices for the set almuerzo. Perfect for a relaxing break from shopping at the inca market.

Are you sure... I spoke to the lady who runs it and she was very adament everything was fully vegetarian, she herself is vegetarian. There is even a note saying the meat is forbidden in the restaurant. I ate here and they do serve some very realistic ¨meat¨ but it was definitely fake. This may be irrelevant if they have change their policy etc. in that case disregard.

I also agree that this was not meat, but rather very meat-like Chinese-style substitutes that they use. This is a veg restaurant.
