Review: When I found out there was going to be a vegan restuarant in my favourite place in Los Angeles, I can't tell you how excited I was. There was a lot of jumping around. I only made it out there last week since we usually end up in the city on Mondays and it's closed. Oh my god, so worth the traffic! The moment my mother ate the Fried Garden Seitan Ball "tsukune," this is what she said. My mother can be extremely picky when it comes to vegan food and hasn't liked seitan in the past, but that dish changed her mind. I can't remember exactly what drinks we ordered, but my mother's was a jasmine tea and mine the ginger, cayenne pepper elixir. Both were extremely good, and the elixer basically cured me of my cough. For main courses, she got the Tomato Soup Spaghetti and I got the Crispy Seitan Katsu Bowl. She really enjoyed hers and I liked mine, but I probably wouldn't get it again because I want to try so much on the menu. For dessert, it was the Green tea moss cake and peach & apple cobbler. Both went over amazingly well, and I have to say that their chocolate buttercream is probably the best I've ever tasted. This is my first review because I loved this restaurant so, so much. The staff was amazing, the decor was warm, and the restaurant just made us happy. It was very empty until we left, so I urge you all to go and be impressed! This restaurant needs to exist forever and ever.
