Respond to Review of REMOVED: Bios Diet
by veganbackpacker

Review: There were a few lunch specials, all involving their homemade vegetable soy burgers. For $13 Argentinian Pesos ($3.45 USD) each, we ordered a burger and had unlimited access to the salad bar. The salad bar included carrots, cucumbers, greens, string beans, eggplant, tomatoes, beets and quinoa. There wasn't any seasoning, which made the salad rather bland but still healthy and refreshing. We thought we'd ordered one burger each but ended up with four in total. It was a surprise to see how they were served, all alone without a bun or dressings. If we were vegetarian, they would have happily been served with cheese. We ended up mixing them with our salad. We took the extra two burgers home for dinner. The burgers had a nice texture but tasted a bit weird. I think the "off" taste was a result of the oil they used. There's this awful oil in South America, a blend of grape seed and olive oil. The taste of the oil wasn't overwhelming but it was strong enough to make it difficult to enjoy the burger. Bios Diet is a small place, perfect for lunch and takeout. The prices are reasonable and the food is healthy. They have an English menu and friendly staff.
