Respond to Review of Padmanadi Vegetarian Restaurant
Review: I liked Padmanadi. We ate there for brunch and dinner on a recent road trip to Edmonton from Calgary. The whole restaurant is vegan. For brunch I had the vegan eggs benedict and the chocolate mousse for desert. The mousse was good, it tastes like the chocolate pudding/mousse I make at home from silken tofu. The eggs benedict was ok, it had too much veggie ham for my taste. But I liked the sauce and the tofu. The corn cakes that we had for appetizers were good too. I really liked the staff, they were very friendly and helpful. At dinner they let me order the chow mein with extra broccoli, no mushrooms, and no cauliflower. The ginger gai lan was really good. The cheesecake with berry sauce for dessert was amazing. I like the decor and the atmosphere here. I wish they had a location in Calgary.
