Review: I went to Chutney on a Sunday afternoon (lunchtime) and was impressed firstly with how few people there were in the restaurant as opposed to the overcrowded foodcourts and restaurants in the centre of town. The place has a cozy feel about it, the food was pretty good (and organic!). The lunch menu had 4 choices to choose from, including vegan options. (Today's menu included 2 types of vegetable stew with rice, one Indian and one Lebanese, bean burgers with what looked like shallow fried potatoes and a baked pasta dish). Bread, shredded carrots with optional dressing, chutney, chilli paste, water and coffee were free. I loved the fact that I could go back for seconds (which I did, as the Lebanese stew I had was delicious), although portions are not ungenerous in size as it is. I also had a vegan coconut ball and a slice of apple pie, both of which tasted great (not very easy on the sugar though).Staff spoke English, which helped, especially when you want to know which dishes are strictly vegan. The main meal was a set price of 85 SEK, which I thought was very reasonable, especially since junkfood at shopping malls costs nearly the same. All in all, I was quite happy with the experience.
