Respond to Review of Remedy Teas
by Vegite

Review: This hip, cheerful, and airy tea house not only has one (perhaps THEE) best selection of herbal and caffeinated teas in Seattle, but it also has some pretty tasty organic, vegan treats. You can find a few gluten-free options here, such as cookies and carrot cake, although Remedy could definitely add some more options here as well as some vegan chocolates. I love their delicious soups, and the fact that they will offer you alternatives to the wheat-roll that comes with them (sometimes a nice fruit platter). Prices are a little high, but the food is organic and there is quality service here. Unlike most vegan joints in Seattle, this place is open till 11 PM every night. Free WiFi and electrical outlets for the computer make it a sweet place to study as well. As to the teas, well, if you like any kind of tea, this IS the place to go. Organic herbals, green, black, red rooibos, etc. They will give you a timer for your tea, to make sure it steeps for just the right amount of time. Also, you can always sample a few hot teas. On a hot summer day, you can get them iced or try a smoothie. Everything is clean and pretty at Remedy. While I still prefer a more zen-like, Eastern atmosphere in a teahouse, this place is pretty chill and comfortable - a great place to go for a quiet chat with a friend or two, or to read a book while sipping a hot cup of tea.
