Respond to Review of City O' City
Review: yes, I'm riffing on their own slogan. City O' is loud, and that's because patrons are yelling over the music. A simple fix, in my eyes. Although I'll never go in rush times again. Best seat is in the window. You can work (I did on my note book, the spiral kind with paper) the staff eventually sees you. Get their attention when you arrive, this is not a high service atmosphere. But that also mans they'll not hustle you out the door, either. I'm beyond tired of pizza, but the buffalo seitan wrap is amazing. They have happily swapped coleslaw for ceasar each time. GT Kombucha is on offer for $4 a bottle. The scene in the neighborhood overall isn't little-kid friendly. The expectations are that this is more a young adult place. Parking is metered, so ride a bus to Lincoln and 13th, or train to 16th Street and walk over. Don't forget the Watercourse bakery items. You can have the cookie. You are walking to the train.
