Polly's Pancake Parlor is a MUST stop for vegetarians when vacationing in the White Mountains. First and foremost- Polly's makes the finest pancakes in the US- Bar None. They only use organic whole grain flour in their whole wheat and buckwheat pancakes, and even the white flour flapjacks are organic. Mr and Mrs Aldrich own the restaurant and are helped by their daughter Kathy and her husband Dennis. The service is excellent, and the food is 10 stars.
Polly's makes their own Maple Syrup, Maple Cream, and Maple powder which are very delish on the pancakes. They also serve light lunch (Try the Grilled Cheese with cheddar or swiss and tomato) Yum.....
Polly's also make home-made APPLE PIE.....with a scoop of local Vanilla Ice cream... :) Coffee is superior too. Make Polly's your breakfast stop while in the White Mountains!

Back to New Hampshire Vegetarian Restaurants & Health Food Store Listings
Please help us improve this site...
Here, at HappyCow's Vegetarian Guide to vegetarian restaurants and health food stores, we strive to bring the most accurate information on Vegetarian Restaurant and Health Food Store listings to the internet. This site is made by vegetarian travelers for travelers (mostly), and we know how it is to travel across a new town in search of vegetarian food only to find that the restaurant no longer exists. We also know that some of the Vegetarian Restaurants and Health Food Stores already posted might be out-of-date, and we apologize for that.
Get involved! Whether you are at home or traveling, please contribute to this site!
