Living Zen Cafe is a 100% Raw, Vegan cafe in the middle of a multi-cultural city called Hamtramck. Menu items include a full drink menu of traditional Korean hot or cold teas, pro-biotic drinks such as rejuvelac, wheat grass shots and much more. The menu on Friday and Saturday includes a weekly rotating main entree, raw vegan soups such as Broccoli cheese or Vietnamese Pho and your choice of Kale quinoa salad or a local greens salad. Brunch is served Sundays 11am-2pm and offers a menu filled with several entrees, sides and salad options.
The Living Zen Cafe resides just below Hamtramcks only Zen Center and has a warm comfortable atmosphere unlike any other restaurant you will find in the city. With newly added outdoor seating in a private Korean styled deck area, you could never guess just where you are. Living Zen Cafe uses local produce while in season from the following organic farms: Tantre farms (Chelsea MI, Cinzori farms (Battle Creek MI), Grant Community park (Royal Oak twp. MI), Frog Holler (Ann Arbor MI), Food Field Farms (Detroit MI). Cash only. Open Fri 4-9pm, Sat 11am-9pm.
