This is a college town with students & professors & international people of all ages. Lots of eats everywhere, and it's easy to get veggie goodies.

If you are looking for vegan food in or around Cambridge I would strongly suggest you avoid veggie planet. the staff are pretentious and rude and I have received varying degrees of bad service every time I've been there. Vegan food is not worth subjecting oneself to the shockingly poor attitudes there, especially not for 9.50 for mini pizzas and awful music.
