note
I was just in the New Orleans area for a week and found that many restaurants were able to make at least one vegan-friendly dish. Here are just a few examples:
1. Asian Cajun (301 Decatur St) has a tofu dish on the lunch menu that you can request at dinner, too.
2. Hard Rock Cafe (418 N Peters) can do veggie fajitas without sour cream or cheese - and a veggie sandwich without the cheese.
3. Angeli on Decatur (1141 Decatur St) can do pasts without cheese.
4. Applebee's (1000 W Esplande in Kenner) left the chicken out of an Asian salad (it had plenty of almonds for protein).
Just ask...and enjoy.

Back to New Orleans Vegetarian Restaurants & Health Food Store Listings

Please help us improve this site...
Here, at HappyCow's Vegetarian Guide to vegetarian restaurants and health food stores, we strive to bring the most accurate information on Vegetarian Restaurant and Health Food Store listings to the internet. This site is made by vegetarian travelers for travelers (mostly), and we know how it is to travel across a new town in search of vegetarian food only to find that the restaurant no longer exists.  We also know that some of the Vegetarian Restaurants and Health Food Stores already posted might be out-of-date, and we apologize for that.

Get involved! Whether you are at home or traveling, please contribute to this site!
