I went to college in Evansville, IN. Really not the most excited city to visit, but it's not that bad as well. As far as eating goes in town not the best experience ever, but there are some places to check out. Off of Green River road there is the best chinese place called Schwezwan Garden. Tady food and plenty of veg options. Right in the same shopping center as the Chinese place is the Acropolis greek restuarant which has some of the best Hummus I have tasted. Then there are always the pizza and italian places which can be veg friendly. You just have dig a little deeper to find suitable places to eat here.

As for entertainment...there is not much at all. There might be a descent concert of Roberts Stadium and there is always ice skating or bowling to participate in. It's a pretty big college town so there are some good bars downtown and around.
