The list for santa barbara needs to include: chilangos downtown Mexican place with two vegan burritos (tofu and tempeh) and taquitos as well as other vegtarian items, chamomile cafe in carpinteria owned by a vegan chef and has lots of vegan baked goods and breakfast & lunch items, with a 99% vegan dinner menu.

Santa Barbara Roasting Company carries vegan pastries from Strong Hearts Bakery, a bakery run exclusively by vegans. Dairy alternatives are available for most beverages. Open 5:30am, has live music once a month.

Add to your list of vegetarian-friendly restaurants in santa barbara area: Sojourner Cafe on Canon Perdido. Galanga (Thai food with meat alternatives) on State St.. Shang Hai (Chinese food with meat alternative) on Milpas. Good Earth Restaurant on Calle Real in Goleta. Aldo’s (Italian - their menu is meticulously marked as to which items are veggie, vegan, and heart friendly) on State St in SB
