Try the very unique Peeking Chinese restaurant on 2nd St. in downtown Chico. Ask for their "Natural Foods" menu, which has an extensive listing of almost all of their traditional chicken and beef dishes made with soy "meat" instead (as well as eggplant, tofu, and other non-meat dishes). Prices per item are in the 6 to 7 dollar range. A very cool underground (literally) restaurant environment... and they have free delivery.
