The owner, Lula, takes traditional Mexican cooking seriously, and there are options (including vegan) here that are not available elsewhere in town. The restaurant is a lively, bohemian space, in a converted garage slightly out of the center of town. You have to walk 10 minutes north from the beach along Calle Cardenas before turning right just as you get to the bridge over the river. Cash only. Open Mon-Sat, closed in September.
