Directions: From San Juan, take Route 1 South to Caguas (20 minutes), at the main fountain known as “the Indian Lady,” turn left for one block (court house on right), then right two blocks and left into La Salud. The stop is worthwhile because in another 15 minutes, you can be in the mountains by taking superhighway 52 to scenic Guavate and into the heart-stopping Panoramic Route.
