The City Square Mall at 12th and Cambie is a great spot for veggie food! Close to city center, it is a very attractive, non-sterile, development: historic brick buildings enclosed in modern steel and glass mall, covering a square block. Best food court for vegetarians I've ever seen! Everybody Loves Veggies is there, but many other places, too. Terrific salad bar right next to them; Indian, Chinese, soup stall, bakery, even a supermarket! Parking available in Center's garage, or on streets nearby.

A great place, fun and great food. Unfortunately the service is a little slow. All items on the menu are vegan except for the nachos and one of the desserts (chocolate fondue, which has a caroube alternative). A place where you'll enjoy eating several times a week!

Despite all I said about Sweet Cherubim, they have awesome desserts (chocolate bliss ball and raspberry delight).

note
Lots of vegan options for those who don't mind overly spicy deep-dried indian food.
Unpleasant staff taking your order (no smile, rude, tend to shout at customers when orders are ready and not picked up immediately!). Not very clean restaurant/tables.

note
Too loud. Too slow. Good food. Not enough vegan options. Forget the cookies (dry and hard!) and try the apple crisp instead (with Tofulati ice cream a la mode).

Excellent middle-eastern vegetarian food with lots of vegan and non-wheat choices. The service is professional and helpful, and the decor is upscale from most of the other veggy spots listed.
