I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
To find friends to travel with, meet for dinner, swap interesting recipes with, etc. Even though I live in what may possibly be the vegetarian epicenter of the galaxy (Berkeley, CA), I have avoided joining veggie groups here because I sometimes find the political overtones a bit strident. Sometimes it's nice when food is just food - to be enjoyed and shared when possible.
