About: 

I became a vegetarian in 1988 because I always thought it was wrong to kill animals. Up until then I had eaten animal products regularly and in abundance. So one day, completely out of the blue, I was making a salami sandwich and as I looked at the meat I thought I just can't be a hypocrite any more. I became veg at that moment.
