More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
It came natural when I was a teenager. You already know the many different reasons one might have. I find it very tiresome that I half my life have to explain to people why I am a vegan. I just want to eat in peace. It is also very annoying when people try to find something that shows that I am not a real vegan but cheating sometimes. Yes, it happens that I eat bread or in official circumstance have to eat a cake with contains egg and milk but I avoid it. I see myself like 99% vegan. I try to be 100% vegan but I have worked several years in countries where it is difficult to be 100% vegan. However, I would never touch meat, fish or chicken.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I joined because I was reading other people reviews and realized I should contribute and warn people for some restaurants and encourage to go to other restaurants. For example I was recently in Paris and Barcelona. There are some many vegetarian restaurants that it is sometimes difficult to decide where to go. Some reviews might be very positive but restaurants change very quickly. It is a phenomena that many restaurants deteriorate quickly after a couple of years. Other suddenly changes owner and get better.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
India must be vegetarian paradise?!?! I have never been there. I am surprised to have discovered that there are so many nice vegetarian restaurants in Spain and France. We have a lot of vegetarian restaurants in Sweden also, but to be honest, they are not so good...

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Tofu and soya cheese

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Skinny Bitch Skinny Bastard You must read them, they are funny and you will laugh about yourself. The teach vegan raw food diet and no alcohol etc.
