Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I originally became a vegetarian for ethical reasons and it is also why I upgraded to veganisn but I have found many other wonderful benefits including better health and less impact on the environment.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I found HappyCow after searching online for some vegan restaurants in Brisbane and Europe. I found it so easy to view and navigate, and members were writing honest, concise and helpful reviews. So naturally I wanted to give back to the community by sharing my own experiences and information about restaurants.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
My favourite places in Australia are Brisbane, Melbourne and around Cairns. Soon I will be travelling to Europe where I will explore Germany, England, Belgium, France and Greece for three months yay =) I also plan on going to Tibet and Nepal, and South America in the near future, followed by everywhere else.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
I most love fruit and eat a tonne of it, particular favourites include mangoes, papaya, and nectarines. Salads, curries, lasagne, banana smoothies and a simple plate of steamed vegetables are among my other favourites. And cakes, I'm a bit obsessed with cakes.
