Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Family health issues. Used to be a very heavy carnivore. BBQ regularly, even through snow storms (LOL), until noticing close family members (both sides - wife and mine)and friends having life threatening health issues.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I have been a closet user of Happy Cow for quite some time. I appreciate having a source I can go to for restaurant ideas. I fly professionally and sometimes it's not easy finding "good" vegetarian eateries around the country. This is a great one stop shop for when I'm on the road.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Loved Alaska, Bahamas, Baha California (kind of extreme I know, but I love a variety of flavors too!).
